Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you request a quote from, or book a transport service with, Pioneer Transport. Please read them before confirming a booking.

1. About these terms
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Pioneer Transport, and “you” means the person or business booking our services. By confirming a booking you accept these terms. Anything agreed in writing for a particular booking, such as a quotation or consignment note, applies alongside them and takes precedence where the two differ.
2. Our services
We provide road transport of goods, as described on our Services page. The vehicle, route, pickup and delivery details, and the price for each consignment are set out in the quotation or booking confirmation we send you.
3. Quotations and bookings
- Quotations are based on the information you give us — origin, destination, the nature, weight and volume of the goods, and any loading requirements — and are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise.
- A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you in writing, by email, message or booking confirmation.
- If the goods, quantities or locations differ from what was quoted, or extra services are needed at pickup or delivery, the price may be revised. Wherever possible we will tell you before any additional charge is incurred.
- Charges for vehicle detention, additional loading or unloading points, or waiting time beyond what was agreed are stated in the quotation where they apply.
4. Your responsibilities
- Describe the goods accurately, including their nature, weight, value and any special handling they need.
- Pack the goods adequately for road transport, unless we have agreed in writing to pack them for you.
- Provide the documents the law requires for the consignment — such as tax invoices, delivery challans and e-way bills where applicable — and make sure they are accurate.
- Make sure someone is available to hand over the goods at pickup and to receive them at delivery.
- Do not hand over any prohibited goods (see section 5).
5. Prohibited goods
We do not carry the following, and may refuse or stop any consignment we reasonably believe contains them:
- Explosives, firearms, ammunition and fireworks.
- Flammable, corrosive, toxic or otherwise hazardous materials, unless agreed in advance in writing and accompanied by the required licences and documents.
- Narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and any goods whose possession or carriage is unlawful.
- Cash, bullion, jewellery, precious stones and negotiable instruments.
- Live animals.
- Perishable goods that need temperature control, unless agreed in advance in writing.
- Counterfeit goods and goods that infringe intellectual-property rights.
If prohibited or misdeclared goods are handed to us, you are responsible for any resulting loss, damage, penalties or costs.
6. Prices and payment
- Prices are in Indian rupees. Taxes, including GST, are charged as applicable and shown on the invoice.
- Payment terms — whether an advance is due on booking and when the balance is payable — are stated in your quotation or booking confirmation.
- You can pay by bank transfer, or online through our payment partner using UPI, cards or net banking. Online payments are processed by the payment partner on its own secure page; we do not see or store your card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
- Any charge beyond the quoted freight — such as waiting or detention charges, additional loading points, tolls, or a payment convenience fee — is shown to you before you pay.
- We will never ask for your OTP, PIN or card CVV by phone, email or message.
7. Transit and delivery
Pickup dates and transit times are estimates given in good faith. They can be affected by traffic, road and weather conditions, checkpoints, vehicle breakdowns and other events outside our control. Our Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how delivery works and what happens if a consignment is delayed.
8. Loss, damage and claims
- Please inspect the goods on delivery and note any visible damage or shortage on the proof of delivery before signing it.
- Report any loss or damage to us in writing within 7 days of delivery — or of the expected delivery date, if the goods have not arrived — with photographs and supporting documents where possible.
- Our liability for loss of or damage to goods is limited to the amount set out in the booking confirmation or consignment note, and is in every case subject to applicable law, including the Carriage by Road Act, 2007 where it applies.
- We are not liable for loss or damage caused by inadequate packing, inherent defects in the goods, inaccurate declarations, or events beyond our reasonable control.
- We recommend insuring goods in transit, particularly high-value consignments, and declaring their value when you book.
9. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, road closures, government action, epidemics and civil unrest. If such an event affects your consignment we will tell you as soon as practicable.
11. Privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
